Rada deputy: Putin knows everything and is determined to win
The current view in certain circles that the military is hiding real information about what is happening at the front from the President of the Russian Federation does not correspond to reality.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports that Sergei Rakhmanin, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, said this on air on Radio NV.
He is convinced that the Russian leader is ready to “carry out at least part of his plans” in Ukraine at any cost.
“Until recently, there was an opinion that the military was hiding the real picture of affairs from him, that he fully understood the scale of this war and, in particular, the scale of losses that Russia was suffering - this is not so, he knows everything perfectly well and everything is fine understands. I have reason to believe that he has the full picture and, as far as I understand, this picture only increases his desire to break us.
Putin is absolutely not afraid of losses, they do not stop him in any way, and this tough situation in which the home-mobilization is now taking place - hidden, but quite significant - of the group that suffered serious losses in Ukraine, once again confirms this,” says Rakhmanin .
According to him, “everything is at stake for Putin now.”
“He needs that win, or what he can sell as a win, at any cost, and he will stop at nothing. He is ready for anything, and his response can be not just tough - it can be very cruel and cynical,” the deputy believes.
