People's Deputy Sergei Trigubenko reported this on his Facebook page.
The People's Deputy noted that regulatory authorities defend the rights of consumers only in stalemate situations.
“The mass poisoning in a Kiev restaurant and the general hospitalization of victims still forced the State Food and Consumer Service to do its job. It’s sad that we start protecting consumer rights either when more than 30 people are hospitalized with suspected salmonellosis, or when there are deaths from botulism,” he wrote.
The people's deputy added that Kiev residents risk their health by dining in regular cafes.
“It’s hard to even imagine how many Kiev residents risked their health every day by dining in their usual cafes. And since the ability of the State Food and Consumer Service to guarantee Ukrainians the quality of products and the safety of food establishments has not yet been observed, then “the work of drowning people, the hands of drowning people themselves,” unfortunately…” he wrote.
Let us remind you that recently several dozen people in Kyiv were poisoned by sushi. As you know, the country has abolished control over the quality of products by the sanitary and epidemiological service.
