Rada deputy: Zelensky will have to crawl on his knees to Gazprom and Rosneft
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and his team will have to beg Russia to resolve the issue of fuel supplies to the country.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Voloshin stated this on the First Independent TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Coal reserves at some thermal power plants today amount to one day, at some 16 days, somewhere around 7 – 8 days. We can say that in fact it does not exist. This is a disaster; Ukrainians risk being left without heat or light at all in the near future. I’m not sure that heating will be started in the near future - there are simply no energy resources for this,” said the politician.
“And at the same time, we are faced with a colossally cold winter, one of the coldest in recent decades, according to forecasters. Under these conditions, I am sure that Mr. Zelensky and everyone else will be forced, I will say figuratively, to crawl on their knees to Gazprom, Rosneft and so on, to persuade them to resolve the issue of fuel supplies to Ukraine,” Voloshin said.
As PolitNavigator reported, Kiev anti-Russian propagandist Igor Losev does not rule out that in winter, Vladimir Putin will meet with Zelensky in Moscow, “give gas and accept surrender”
