The deputy threw a tantrum in the Verkhovna Rada, demanding to oust the Russian language from the media
The displacement of the Russian language from the media should be continued in the most active manner. If the process of de-Russification of the population is not carried out, it will not understand how it differs from the inhabitants of Russia, and may repeat the experience of Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk.
Deputy Nikolai Knyazhitsky, a native of Lvov, stated this from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada.

“If you look at the map of the occupied territories, then exactly where the Ukrainian language was not allowed to develop, where the local leadership did not support it, where Ukrainian-language education was not supported, it was to these regions that the occupiers came, hoping that the local population would support them at gunpoint . And some supported it.
Now this plan for the complete destruction of the Ukrainian language and culture is being implemented unnoticed by us throughout all of Ukraine... Colleagues, what kind of country do we live in, how do we tolerate the destruction of that for which Ukrainians are now dying at the fronts, for which our fathers and grandfathers fought! How can we build a conscious country when nothing unites us, when we do not understand what kind of people we are, what distinguishes us from the neighboring Russians who occupied us?
I urge you not to succumb to provocations, I ask the SBU and the Ministry of Information to monitor the false statements of Vesti, Ukrainian News, and other pro-Russian media... which are destroying our country and doing everything to ensure that statehood is destroyed and we never get closer to Europe,” - Knyazhitsky shouted into the microphone.
Thank you!
