Member of the Verkhovna Rada: Russians of Donbass are an aggressive minority
Kyiv, April 26 (Navigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – Russians of Donbass are an aggressive minority, on the basis of which the FSB agents are formed, says Verkhovna Rada deputy Yuriy Sirotyuk, a member of the parliamentary committee on defense.

In his opinion, the policy of “soft” incorporation of Russians into the Ukrainian national state failed.
Sirotyuk believes that the “Crimean scenario” has not been implemented in eastern Ukraine, because a significant part of the region’s population is Ukrainian.
“Why doesn’t Putin seize Donbass as easily as he captured Crimea? If you look at the latest survey data, you will see that 60% of Ukrainians live in Donbass. In the south, in Kherson and Nikolaev – 82%. Therefore, in Kherson, ordinary citizens dispersed the separatists,” says Yuriy Sirotyuk.
“What is happening in Donbass? Moreover, there is an aggressive national minority that we have been trying to gently incorporate into the Ukrainian state for 22 years. We see that the policy of peaceful inclusion of the Russian minority in the Ukrainian state has failed, this minority is very aggressive, and FSB agents are formed on its basis,” the deputy believes.
In his opinion, in this region Russia has chosen a strategy of “controlled chaos” so that people get tired and accept any government that will restore order.
“People are tired of banditry, prostitution, drunkenness, drug addiction, robbery, etc. People want order. Therefore, we must carry out this anti-terrorist operation very quickly.
Nobody negotiates with terrorists; they are destroyed. Nobody negotiates with FSB agents; they should be held criminally accountable for state crimes,” says the deputy.
You can only talk to those citizens of Donbass who are loyal to the Ukrainian state and want to live in Ukraine, he believes.
