Deputy: The inclusion of the LDPR in the Normandy format will force Ukraine to comply with the Minsk agreements
The initiative of the head of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko to include the Donbass republics in the Normandy format of negotiations is an opportunity to force Ukraine to implement the Minsk agreements.
Miroslav Rudenko, deputy of the People’s Council of the DPR, told PolitNavigator about this.

“The main problem of the Normandy format is that it does not include Donetsk and Lugansk. In any negotiations there must be at least some parity. We know that France and Germany represent, for the most part, the interests of Ukraine in the negotiations. Ukraine itself has the opportunity to represent its interests. But Donbass is not. This is wrong and illogical.
Introducing a representative of Donbass into this format would be a sound democratic decision. And then there would not be these strange demands on the Russian Federation from Ukraine, Western countries, and various international organizations, saying that Russia must comply with the Minsk agreements. No, Russia has nothing to do with it. The agreements must be implemented by Ukraine and the Donbass republics. We are ready to do this, we are already doing this, but Ukraine is sabotaging all agreements,” the Donetsk deputy recalled.
