Deputies of the Kyiv City Council were banned from using Russian email
Kyiv, July 04 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Deputies of the Kyiv City Council were prohibited from using Russian email services for work correspondence.
The corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the City Council on Thursday on the initiative of the Samopomich faction (the party is headed by Lvov Mayor Andrei Sadov).
“The idea was supported in the session hall. In the near future, employees will be required to send mailings only from Ukrainian platforms,” reports the Capital newspaper.

As Navigator reported, earlier the Verkhovna Rada also recommended that the Cabinet of Ministers abandon the use of Russian software.
“Not only an aggressive war is being waged against us, but also an information war. Not only with weapons, but also thanks to information technology. And to protect our country is our duty, and first of all to protect it with information,” said speaker Alexander Turchynov.
And nationalist Oleg Tyagnibok from Svoboda clarified the danger posed by Russian software.
“It is necessary to abandon Russian antiviruses that have access to the OS kernel,” Tyagnibok said.
