Kyiv, February 25 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – People’s Deputy from “Batkivshchyna” Alexandra Kuzhel saw the positive in the crazy growth of the dollar and the country’s default. She stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.

According to her, if the country defaults, they will stop paying bribes and Ukraine will begin to live “in a new way.”

“You know what makes me happy? If there is a default, there will be nothing to pay bribes with. This may be the beginning of the fight against corruption. Because when entrepreneurs from the 7th kilometer write to me that they are closing, and they came to the Maidan and brought things there by bus, they write that in order to continue renting at the market, you need to bring a thousand dollars to the city council. Once it was eight thousand hryvnia, but now it’s impossible to bring in forty thousand hryvnia to buy a thousand dollars,” said Kuzhel.
