Cossack Mikhail Gavrilyuk, who became famous on the Maidan and later became a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, was offered a political bribe of $2 million.

According to him, to receive this amount it was necessary to accompany one of candidateov for president and tell people about his contribution to the Maidan.
“I have had offers, a lot and very big ones, from the moment I became famous. Even before the presidential elections. I didn't have to do anything - take a couple of million dollars. I asked: “What should I do in return?” “It’s okay, you should go with our presidential candidate and tell him what he is like, what he did for the Maidan,” Gavrilyuk said.
He claims that he decided to refuse the deal for moral reasons - responsibility to his comrades on the Maidan.
Gavrilyuk refused to clarify what kind of candidate this was, as well as other details, citing the fact that he continued to see and communicate with people who offered him money.
