Deputies attacked an official of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, demanding not to pronounce “LPR” and “DPR”
Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada on the Shuster Live talk show attacked the representative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Valentin Fedichev, who, speaking about the fighting in the Donbass, used the abbreviation “Ministry of Defense of the DPR.”

“There is no DPR! Occupied territory! This is a myth that Russian propaganda implants in the brain! And if an employee of the Ministry of Defense repeats this, I’m horrified!” – MP Borislav Bereza interrupted the official’s speech.
“They are either collaborators or separatists! In the future, this is Ukraine. And now – terrorists, pro-Russian idiots, whatever! But this is not the LPR or the DPR!” – the parliamentarian added.
“At the General Staff they say: the first army corps of the DPR, the second army corps of the LPR. We are military. And we evaluate the strength with which we are fighting,” Fedichev answered.
“What a LPR! What a DPR! This is our Ukrainian Donetsk and Lugansk! Russian regular military personnel and city crazy people are fighting there - separatists who sold their homeland, who were brainwashed by Russian propaganda, they came up with the idea that they have the DPR there. This is madness. They say: “Donetsk people”, “Lugansk people”. How is that?!" - shouted MP Andrei Lozovoy, an ally of Oleg Lyashko.
Fedichev boiled in response.
“Do those present seriously think that there are morons on the General Staff? Do we really not know what our respected colleague is talking about? Every day I received 6-8 sheets of operational intelligence information, the most accurate, where who said what, where he held what meeting in the so-called LPR and DPR, where conclusions were drawn. So this is at the level of the ATO headquarters, and not just at the level of the General Staff. Therefore, childish talk about the low level of the General Staff is a bluff. These are reasonable officers!” - shouted the representative of the Ministry of Defense.
