The right-wing Confederation party, represented in the Polish Sejm, expects that the Ukrainian authorities will apologize for the fall of their missile on Polish soil and compensate the families of the two dead Poles, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Members of the Polish Sejm from the “Confederation” Robert Winnitski, Jacek Wilk and Grzegorz Braun yesterday held a press conference within the walls of the Polish parliament at which they expressed their claims to both the Ukrainian and Polish authorities.
“In Przewodow we are talking about a tragic accident, for which The Ukrainian side must make a sincere apology and pay compensation to the families of the victims. This is the basis of international relations. Unfortunately, we do not observe such an attitude. He also emphasized that Poland is the country that helps Ukraine the most, and therefore the Polish authorities and Poles have the right to expect transparency and honesty from Ukraine.

In turn, Jacek Wilk said that Ukraine’s interest is clearly to drag Poland into a war with Russia, and this is contrary to Poland’s national interests. He stressed that Poland cannot allow this to happen and pointed out the need to strengthen the Polish army and defense systems.
The leader of the Confederation, Grzegorz Braun, on behalf of the party, expressed condolences to the families of those killed in the explosion in Przewodów. He added that although "Poland remains nominally a neutral country", in practice, due to the rhetoric of the authorities in Warsaw, which "makes Poland a belligerent", this is no longer the case.
