Kyiv, February 12 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – Verkhovna Rada deputies Egor Sobolev (Self-Help) and Vadim Ivchenko (Batkivshchyna) started a fight on the sidelines of parliament over contradictions on one of the anti-corruption bills.
The fight took place in front of numerous eyewitnesses. What added piquancy to the incident was that both Sobolev and Ivchenko are formally allies - both are members of the coalition.

As a result, the regulatory committee proposed depriving Ivchenko and Sobolev of the right to attend meetings for 5 days.
However, the leadership of the faction stated that this was unfair - allegedly, Ivchenko was first “brutally beaten” right during the meeting in the parliament hall, where as many as 5 representatives of Samopomich attacked him, and on the sidelines he just hit back at one of the offenders.
Speaker Vladimir Groysman said that it is necessary to approve a code of conduct for deputies, which provides for liability for fights.
