This was announced by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland Andriy Deshchytsia in an interview with Ukrinform.
“Most likely, this will be an official visit. The program is still being drawn up, but it provides for an expanded security aspect,” Deshchytsia said.
According to the Ukrainian diplomat, the details of the visit will be discussed during contacts between the Administration of the President of Ukraine and the Office of the President of Poland.
Deshitsa stressed that the visit is planned to discuss the issue of security and obtain assessments from the two sides on the situation in the region.
Earlier, the presidents of Ukraine and Poland instructed to begin preparations for Andrzej Duda’s working visit to Kharkov in December this year.
On November 7, Polish President Duda said that in Ukrainian politics there are many “people with nationalist and anti-Polish views.” According to Duda, they do not contribute to the development of relations between the two countries. Based on this, the Polish leader asked President Poroshenko to remove such politicians from the Ukrainian political scene.
In response, Poroshenko initiated an emergency meeting of the Consultative Committee of the Presidents of Ukraine and Poland in order to prevent further escalation of tension between the two countries.
