Children in liberated territories will be taught Russian again
Schoolchildren in the liberated territories of Donbass experience psychological problems and have poor knowledge of the Russian language.
Senator Liliya Gumerova spoke about this at a meeting of the Federation Council today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Colleague senators are meeting with children from the liberated territories. Many of them have been in a state of constant stress for 8 years and practically do not remember peaceful life, and are in dire need of psychological help. The Faculty of Psychology of Moscow State University has begun preparing specific recommendations. They will be delivered to schools so that teachers can use them.
Many children from the liberated territories do not speak Russian to the required degree to master our general education program. Courses will be organized during the summer. Students and high school students, counselors will be included in this work,” Gumerova said.
According to her information, 2,5 thousand Donbass teachers have already been sent to advanced training courses, and 5 million textbooks have been received in the LDPR. By the end of next week, the Ministry of Science and Education of the Russian Federation will consolidate the patronage of Russian regional universities over the universities of the republics.
“Such work has already proven its effectiveness when Crimea and Sevastopol returned to their native harbor,” the senator said.
