Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Yekhanurov proposed creating a network of military lyceums in the southeast of Ukraine, where children of immigrants from Donbass would be admitted on preferential terms in order to forge “Ukrainian patriots” out of them.

“I believe that the Ukrainian state must definitely go to the extent of creating a network of dozens of lyceums with advanced military and physical training in the east of Ukraine, in the south of Ukraine, with state money, first of all, taking the children of immigrants and everyone from the front-line zone. And we can’t do without educating Ukrainian patriots,” Yekhanurov said.
