Children of Kherson region will receive Russian books
In Crimea, a collection of books of Russian literature has been announced for subsequent transfer to the Kherson region. We need publications for children and new ones, not those lying on the shelf of a bookcase
The head of the Kerch administration, Svyatoslav Brusakov, made an appeal for help in collecting books on his telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“From May 26 to June 10, I invite you to join the campaign to collect books of Russian literature,” he wrote. – The action is carried out to maintain Russian culture among the population, as well as to eradicate the Nazi ideology that has been imposed all these years on the children of the Kherson region. Important! Only new books (Russian folk tales, epics, Russian folklore) are accepted for collection.”
In early May, the Crimean parliament sent 60 tons of humanitarian aid to the residents of Donbass, including books for children and adults in Russian. In addition, the head of parliament Vladimir Konstantinov instructed the United Russia faction to organize the collection of food, medicine, basic necessities, as well as textbooks in Russian, which will be distributed to local residents and schools in Donetsk, Lugansk and Mariupol.
“Together with humanitarian aid, other humanitarian cargo is urgently needed: truthful information, honest textbooks, especially history textbooks,” Konstantinov emphasized.
