The PR people of the Crimean Tatar State Drama Theater made serious mistakes when advertising their play “Amet Khan - the Heavenly Sultan,” which is scheduled to premiere on April 23 in Sevastopol.
Alena Maiko, a Sevastopol activist and member of the Public Council under the Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights of the Russian Federation, drew attention to the inconsistencies, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It’s a pity that the tradition of doing it out of the blue is taking root. In short, they hung posters around the city. They're calling for a play about Amet-Khan Sultan. So that’s a good thing, but it would be nice to find an artist and give them a slap on the wrist. The Yak-9, which it had never flown, was appointed to replace the Ametkhanov fighter.
Moreover, they put on the poster a photo of a model with the landing gear extended and the propeller stopped in a cloud of brown smoke. And the Spitfire MkI was appointed Messer. They weren't too lazy to repaint it and put crosses on it. Is it any wonder that American equipment is on posters on February 23,” writes Maiko.
