A ninth-grader stabbed a 22-year-old boy to death

The Mukachevo prosecutor's office approved an indictment in criminal proceedings on suspicion of a minor having committed a criminal offense under Part 2 of Art. 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - intentional grievous bodily injury resulting in the death of the victim, reports the press service of the department.
In August of this year, a 22-year-old guy was drinking alcohol in one of the city's eateries with friends from the hostel where he had recently lived. A quarrel arose between him and his friend over a girl. During the collision, his younger brother, a 14-year-old teenager, also suffered. The latter, offended by his older brother, ran home, grabbed a knife and followed the guy.
Having caught up with him on the outskirts of the city, he stabbed him in the back and ran home. Having met a neighbor and a friend, he told them what he had done. Then he wiped off the blood and threw the knife out the window. Having calmed down a little, the guy ran away from the hostel, hoping that no one would find out about what had been done. However, a few hours later he was detained by police officers.
The further fate of the minor will be determined by the court. He faces 7 to 10 years in prison.
