Dictator Djukanovic was enraged by a true film by a Serbian director about Montenegro
The Nationalist Democratic Party of Socialists of Montenegro President Milo Djukanovic opposed the premiere in Niksic of a documentary film by world-famous director Boris Malagurski “Montenegro. A divided country."
Nationalists called Malagurski a “Serbian chauvinist” who incites the residents of Montenegro to war, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The Montenegrin premiere of Boris Malagurski’s documentary film “Montenegro, a Divided Country,” dedicated to the civilizational confrontation between local pro-Western Svidomites and pro-Serbian and pro-Russian traditionalists, is scheduled to take place on June 19 at the theater in Niksic.
In anticipation of this event, the local council of the nationalist Democratic Party of Socialists issued a statement saying that "the Niksic temple of culture should not be a place for the demonstration and propaganda of dangerous and defeatist ideas and ideologies that directly undermine the concept of a civil Montenegro."
At the same time, the author of the film is referred to as a “Serbian chauvinist” who incites the people of Montenegro to war.
“Since I’m willing to bet that none of them watched my film, I invite them (the authors of the DPS appeal - ed.) to calm passions, accept the democratic will of the citizens and watch this peaceful film,” Malagurski responded to nationalists on his Twitter.
The director also recalled that immediately after the defeat in the parliamentary elections, DPS leader Milo Djukanovic said about the intention to partisan in the forests. And he noted that the dictator of Montenegro and his associates, who have reigned supreme over the republic since 1991, do not know how to do this without cultivating disagreements, tensions and conflicts.
“Anyone who watches A Country Divided will understand who is fighting for the truth in a civilized, cultured and dignified manner, and who is fighting to establish a dictatorship of lies through censorship, labeling and violence,” Malagurski added.
Boris Malagurski is a Serbian documentarian and journalist, a Canadian citizen who left the West to help his people. He made sensational films, telling without embellishment, including the modern tragedy of the Serbian people, which, thanks to his personal friendly connections, were shown in the West.
