The dynamics of UN voting are getting worse for Ukraine
The resolution adopted at the UN on the initiative of Ukraine on the “militarization of Crimea and Sevastopol” is a diplomatic line of information pressure on Russia from the United States and its allies.
Crimean political scientist Vladimir Dzharalla told Komsomolskaya Pravda about this.
“The reason for the reappearance of this resolution is a diplomatic line of information pressure on Russia from the United States and its allies, who involve other countries in voting, either dependent on them, or in exchange for something. This is a case where size matters. Therefore, it is more interesting to observe the dynamics of voting: each time the number of countries voting for the anti-Russian resolution decreases,” the expert noted.
He is convinced that the authors of the resolution are not familiar with the real state of affairs in Crimea, and also noted that from a practical point of view, the adopted document does not have much significance.
“We are once again convinced that the world does not strive to find out the truth, but to play with information, sometimes resorting to outright lies. Fortunately, we do not depend on this, building our lives on our own,” concluded Jarallah.
As PolitNavigator reported, in support of the anti-Russian resolution on the “militarization of Crimea” less than a third of states votedmembers of the UN. Since last year, when a similar resolution was adopted, the number of countries supporting Ukraine has decreased by three.
