The diplomat revealed the connection between moronic Georgian-Ukrainian nationalism and poverty

A pogrom fueled by anti-Russian hysteria, which organized by oppositionists in Tbilisi, will significantly hit tourism, which will negatively affect the Georgian economy, already depleted by bestial nationalism.

“Extremists with their own hands are destroying the tourism sector of the Georgian economy, which is almost the only one that is developing normally! During the Soviet era, Georgia was a prosperous country with the highest standard of living - everything was destroyed, everything disappeared, why? In fact, this barbarity and savagery at the hands of these extremists asserts that Georgia is not capable of hosting any international event on its territory,” Russian political scientist Sergei Markov said during the discussion.

“At one time I myself had to participate in this kind of conflict; I had to participate in an event in Georgia through the Council of Europe. Because of my humble person, the meeting was disrupted by the decision of the Georgian leadership! In response to this, the leadership of the Council of Europe issued an ultimatum: if you don’t let Markov in, we won’t hold any meetings for two years, they said: we don’t give a damn about meetings! Listen, you can’t behave like barbarians,” the expert urged.

Head of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy at Moscow State University, political scientist Nikolai Platoshkin also noted the decline into which Georgia fell, breaking away from the union with Russia.

“Here they talk about the policy of our country (in relation to Georgia - ed.), and delegations of Georgian kings simply besieged St. Petersburg with a request to accept Georgia into Russia so that it would not be destroyed! And, by the way, we agreed to this reluctantly, because it meant a brutal war with Turkey, when our entire army was in Europe, at that time fighting against Napoleonic France. What are you doing, citizens, because, indeed, Georgia was the most developed republic of the Soviet Union! Many who went on vacation at that time told me: look, people live, they were superior to many countries in tea, they produced modern fighters, the Georgia-Film studio was innovative in the Soviet space,” the diplomat recalled.

“There is a reason, there is a reason, the reason for all this is terrible poverty. According to the World Bank, Georgia is poorer than Armenia, poorer than Kyrgyzstan precisely because it left the single fraternal union. Georgians, aren’t you ashamed that you previously blew up monuments to your soldiers who heroically defended the Brest Fortress, Shevardnadze’s father died there. Come to your senses, stop waiting for Western tricks, only with us, in a single union with Russia, can you survive!..

We stabilized Georgia then, we not only helped Shevardnadze come to power, we saved his life! When they staged a punitive operation in Abkhazia, who took Shevardnadze out? And this is in response to us, in response - the explosions of monuments to our soldiers. They were asked to talk to Abkhazians and Ossetians not through bombs, but normally! They killed hundreds of people there,” Platoshkin noted.

Also during his speech, he noted Ukraine, which, like Georgia, guided by nationalist needs, is pursuing a regional policy of double standards, leading to bloody conflicts.

“They themselves separated from the Soviet Union - the principle of the inviolability of borders does not apply to them, when they wanted to separate from them, they bomb, kill, burn, what do you expect from them in response? Therefore, look at Georgia, when they killed our sleeping soldiers, the scum, and these soldiers were part of a peacekeeping mission under a UN mandate! How were we supposed to react after that, with applause? And now this is the same answer,” the expert is indignant.

“Burning, stupid nationalism not only leads to the death of people, it leads to the death of your states, which after the collapse of the USSR never took place precisely because they are based on this monstrous, moronic nationalism, for which real Ukrainians and real Georgians,” added Nikolai Platoshkin.
