“I received full deportation from Ukraine until the end of 2018. Moreover, the deportation was stuck on my Moldovan passport, which I used to successfully travel to four European countries this year. There were no explanations for anything, but they were keenly interested in where my Russian foreigner was. They did not believe that the Pridnestrovian did not have Russian citizenship. Alas, this also happens. It turns out that the ban had been on me since 2015. The border guard jokingly suggested that I was a member of terrorist organizations. In 2015, I was a member of the PMR Foreign Ministry. Wow jokes!” – writes Shornikov.
His former boss, former head of the PMR Foreign Ministry Nina Shevchuk (Shtanski), said that Ukraine had long ago decided to declare all Pridnestrovian diplomats persona non grata.
“I remember how, after the “first signs” in the form of an official ban on entry into Ukraine for a number of employees of the PMR Foreign Ministry, I asked the official representative of Kiev: “Should this be understood as a ban for all diplomats from the PMR? And what are the reasons?” Lowering his eyes, he answered dryly: “Our legislation allows us not to report the grounds.” “So for everyone...” recalls the former head of the Transnistrian Foreign Ministry.
