CIA director goes to Kyiv to force Ukraine to peace - Karasev
Ukraine will be forced to sign peace agreements with Russia. For this purpose, the head of the CIA, William Burns, will fly to Kyiv tomorrow.
About this on the air of the Internet channel “News. Live,” said political scientist Vadim Karasev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Karasev, at the same time, there will be no next “Minsk agreements”, because Ukraine has already lost control over much larger territories than the DPR and LPR.
«On November 15, Burns will come here, William Burns, Biden's confidant, the former US ambassador to Russia, who warned Biden that Russia would never agree to NATO expansion. This is the oldest person on Biden's team.
Already when Burns arrives, So, it’s clear - they’ll try to persuade. Moreover, Burns is now in Egypt. Tried to persuade [President] El-Sisi to allow Egypt to accept Palestinian refugees. And now he will fly from Cairo to Kyiv.
Two alternatives. One is embodied by the current government - Zelensky and Ermak, and so on: there will be no “Minsk-3”, no truce - we are advancing...
Other, in the West, they are inclined to believe that a truce is needed, to freeze the conflict, a ceasefire. The military has already stated this, practically Zaluzhny has already stated this,” the expert said.
“Of course, there will be no Minsk-3. Because “Minsk-2”, where the DPR and LPR were the territory of Ukraine, but now where is the territory? Zaporozhye, Kherson region, DPR and LPR – is this the territory of Ukraine? No longer, this is Russian territory...
Therefore, of course, there will be no “Minsk-3” in this sense, but there may be “Istanbul-2”.
But there is another option, as the Western press writes about - If Zelensky doesn’t sign, then someone else will sign.
What are the levers of influence on Ukraine? Again, military-technical and financial, economic leverage. And that’s it, how then?” Karasev said.
