The director of the State Bureau of Investigation publicly humiliated Poroshenko
Petro Poroshenko from a statist person has turned into an ordinary politician who is engaged not only in substituting concepts, but in distorting information reality if it is beneficial for him, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is how the director of the SBI, Roman Truba, responded to Poroshenko’s statement on Telegram about the alleged “raider takeover of the Pryamoy TV channel associated with the ex-president.”
“I must respond to Petro Poroshenko’s statement about the alleged “raider takeover of the Pryamoy TV channel.” Unfortunately, Pyotr Alekseevich has turned from a statist person into an ordinary politician who is engaged not only in substituting concepts, but in infringing on information reality if it is beneficial for him,” the message says.
According to Truba, the SBI does not have a single production that would relate to the activities of the Direct TV channel, especially its editorial policy, the payment of taxes by the TV channel, the work of journalists, and the like.
“We have proceedings regarding possible tax evasion during the sale of this TV channel to Vladimir Makeenko. The difference seems obvious.
Moreover, investigative actions within the framework of the proceedings do not interfere with the activities of journalists, and this will never happen,” said the director of the State Bureau of Investigation.
In addition, he added that “manipulating the work of a TV channel in the context of the Joint Forces Operation does not suit the ex-president of the country.”
On August 12, the State Bureau of Investigation interrogated Petro Poroshenko. Let us remind you that, as PolitNavigator reported, Poroshenko brought his own children to the rally in support of him, and after interrogation at the State Bureau of Investigation, they tried to throw eggs at the ex-president, but they hit the journalists.
PolitNavigator also reported that, according to lawyer Andrei Portnov, today Poroshenko was issued two new subpoenas for further interrogations.
Interestingly, the decree appointing Roman Truba as director of the State Bureau of Investigation was signed by Poroshenko himself on November 22, 2017.
