Director of Crimean madrasah fined for possession of extremist literature
Simferopol, August 27 (Navigator, Evgeny Andreev) – Based on the results of joint activities of the prosecutor’s office of the Republic of Crimea and the FSB department for the Republic of Kazakhstan, the director of a religious educational institution in the Dzhankoy district was held accountable for storing extremist materials.

According to her, in the mentioned religious educational institution, in particular its library, books included in the federal list of extremist materials were stored.
Based on this fact, the prosecutor initiated an administrative case against the director of a religious educational institution under Art. 20.29 of the Administrative Code (mass distribution of extremist materials included in the published federal list of extremist materials, as well as their production or storage for the purpose of mass distribution).
At the court hearing, when considering administrative materials, the director fully admitted his guilt.
By decision of the Dzhankoy City District Court, he was sentenced to a fine of 2 thousand rubles with confiscation of the confiscated literature.
