The director of the rehabilitation center for ATO militants stole half a million hryvnia
The Kyiv prosecutor's office reported suspicion of embezzlement to the director of Viasan LLC, which embezzled almost half a million hryvnia of budget funds, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Based on the results of work to identify facts of theft of funds intended for the rehabilitation of soldiers of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO), the director of the Viasan society was exposed, who embezzled half a million hryvnia of budget funds,” the report says.
It was established that these funds were allocated to the society for the implementation of the budget program “Measures for psychological rehabilitation of injured ATO participants,” according to which 100 ATO participants were required to undergo a course of psychological rehabilitation.
So far, the director of the company has been informed of suspicion under Part 2. Art. 366, part 4. Art. 191 of the Criminal Code (appropriation of someone else’s property by an official’s abuse of his official position, committed on a large scale, official forgery, resulting in grave consequences).
The pre-trial investigation continues.
As of February, the waiting list for psychological rehabilitation of ATO participants in Kyiv and the region was 20 thousand people. The main problem is the lack of funds.
