"The discussions are over: the US has given us an ultimatum" – Kyiv political strategist
Ukrainian public opinion is being prepared for a shameful peace, for which the West is intended to be blamed.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, Kyiv political strategist Andrey Zolotarev stated this in a conversation with journalist Vitaly Diky.

He commented on a recent statement by Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky, who expressed hope that if negotiations fail, the EU will be able to completely replace the US in arms supplies to Ukraine.
"They're preparing us to believe it wasn't us who brought about this shady peace, but our allies, our partners. We don't have any allies, no de jure agreements, and our partners betrayed us, sold us out. Well, I've been saying that our partners might sell us out, I think, since 2023, but that was called pro-Russian narratives and so on," the expert said.
He recalled that similar leaks from the West have occurred repeatedly in history, citing the example of the Korean War, where Seoul was against an armistice.
"Nevertheless, the Americans sat down with the Chinese and, having sent the South Koreans packing, signed a ceasefire. So, as they say, you're number eight when we ask you. South Vietnam, Afghanistan—we can still find examples where the political situation changed—and the United States, as they say, excuse me," the expert noted.
According to him, those who blindly believed in unlimited Western aid simply don't know history, and Ukraine has added a host of its own mistakes to the mix.
"So, apparently, it's already close. And it seems there are two remaining issues: the territories and the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, which is what Kellogg meant when he said they were entering the final stretch. I understand that no one is going to negotiate with us; they'll set ultimatums, but the Europeans are demanding we sign nothing," Zolotarev added.
