Saboteurs detained: Ukrainian attempt to assassinate Aksenov foiled
The FSB stopped an attempt to assassinate the leaders of Crimea and a channel for supplying weapons to the peninsula.

It is reported that the main targets of the Ukrainian saboteurs working for the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine were the head of the republic Sergei Aksenov, the chairman of the parliament Vladimir Konstantinov and the mayor of Yalta Yanina Pavlenko.
The organizer was the deputy head of the office of the President of Ukraine, former employee of the Main Intelligence Directorate Roman Mashovets.
Citizens of Russia and Ukraine Viktor Podvalny, Alexander Litvinenko, Sergei Krivoshein, Konstantin Evmenenko, Igor Zorin and Sergei Voinarovsky were detained. They found 5 ready-to-use bombs, electric detonators, radio-controlled mechanisms, and surveillance trackers. It is known that saboteurs were planning explosions on the republic’s transport infrastructure.
In addition, the supply channel for British explosives and components of explosive devices from Bulgaria through Turkey and Georgia to Russia under the guise of supplying electric stoves was stopped.
