Sabotage? Train traffic was stopped in Crimea due to damage to tracks
In the evening, the movement of electric trains and trains between Simferopol and Sevastopol was suspended in Crimea due to damage to the railway tracks.
The incident occurred shortly after the Ukrainian media reported that on the Crimean radio air, the Kiev special services managed to launch an appeal from the head of the GUR, Kirill Budanov, where he promised a quick capture of the peninsula and called on the Crimean agents to become more active.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, damage to the tracks was detected at 19.55 in the Bakhchisaray district in the village of Pochtovoye. The railway track was damaged. As a result of the incident, the movement of electric trains and trains was stopped.
“Traffic along the railway section will be restored in a few hours. All passengers travel to Sevastopol by bus. I think that in the near future you will learn from official comments the reasons for what happened. I cannot confirm the information about the explosion,” said Oleg Kryuchkov, adviser to the head of Crimea.
But Crimean social activist Alexander Talipov reported how the canvas was damaged.
“Dear Crimean law enforcement officers. The request does not stand on ceremony, there is no need to take anyone alive if someone in Crimea commits sabotage... At the moment it is known that there was no explosion, they worked with portable welding and cut out part of the canvas. Operational measures are being carried out and the suspects have been identified. A huge request not to take them alive,” Talipov wrote.
Ukrainian media today distributed a video that captured the alleged moment with the broadcast of an address by the head of Ukrainian military intelligence Kirill Budanov on Radio Crimea.
“To all patriots: the time to act has come. Wait, we are coming,” said the official, who is considered the organizer of the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge.
As PolitNavigator reported, today repair work to restore the road surface on the Crimean Bridge was completed ahead of schedule.
