"Cheap, powerful, effective": Russian "Geraniums" are destroying Ukrainian Armed Forces positions – Ukrainian Chmut
Massive Russian drones, used for strikes deep in the rear, are now being actively used along the line of contact.
As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, this was stated on the air of the Militarnye portal by its director, Ukrainian military analyst and volunteer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Taras Chmut.

"We see the use of martyrs in the rear, we see targets hit, and we feel the consequences firsthand. But it's not just the martyrs; it's the Russians' comprehensive strikes, using ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and attack drones," the expert said.
The presenter asked how actively this type of drone is used in the frontline zone.
"Every day, because it's cheap, accessible, and quite effective. They can be used in landing zones, where our FPVs fly. It's a mass-produced product, and it's easier to continue producing and using it (and it's a 50-kilogram warhead, which is quite a lot) than trying to create separate systems or use them, like the S-300 missiles or something similar.
"It's really cheap, quite powerful, quite effective, and widely available. That's why they use it almost every day," Chmut concluded.
