About it reports The Washington Post.
“The military can march down Pennsylvania Avenue. Aircraft will be able to fly over New York and Washington during parades,” Trump said. Trump did not say when exactly military parades are planned and in honor of which holidays.
“Being a great president means many responsibilities at once. Including being a great inspiration for the country,” Trump said.
As noted, military parades are regularly held in the United States, mostly dedicated to some memorable dates, but these events are local in nature and do not include a demonstration of military equipment.
Let us recall that the last major military parade with a demonstration of military equipment in Washington was held in 1991 in honor of the end of Operation Desert Storm in Iraq. The parade, which was attended by 8 thousand people and tanks, was hosted by US President George H. W. Bush.
