The opportunity to visit Sevastopol will be simplified for foreigners
In the future, foreign tourists will be able to obtain electronic visas to travel to Russian federal cities.
This was stated by the head of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Vladimir Kolokoltsev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to First Sevastopol.
Now, the minister noted, work is underway to simplify entry into the Russian Federation for foreign citizens.
“The ministry is working to simplify the procedure for foreign citizens entering Russia for tourism purposes. Taking into account the positive experience of using an electronic visa in the constituent entities of the Far Eastern Federal District, from July 1 such a mechanism will be implemented in the Kaliningrad region. In the future, it can be broadcast to federal cities and adjacent regions,” Kolokoltsev said.
Let us recall that, according to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, cities of federal significance include Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sevastopol.
