For Moscow, Poroshenko’s profitability is equal to Tymoshenko’s

For the Kremlin, victory in the upcoming elections of both the current president of Ukraine and his main rival is equally beneficial.

Journalist of the 1+1 TV channel Alexander Dubinsky writes about this on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

He notes that from October 1, gas for Ukrainian industry will cost $440 per thousand cubic meters - almost the same as it cost for industry in 2009 after then-Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko signed gas agreements with the Russian Federation.

“Considering that there is no Slovak gas in Ukraine (because there is none in Slovakia), and gas “taken” from the transit pipe is sold here, a very simple conclusion suggests itself. For Putin, the profitability of the Tymoshenko-2009 project was equal to the profitability of the Poroshenko-2018 project. Therefore, the Kremlin will be satisfied with the victory of any of these candidates in 2019,” Dubinsky believes.

As PolitNavigator reported, in the Verkhovna Rada Poroshenko’s and Tymoshenko’s supporters started a squabble and They declared each other to be “Putin’s agents.”
