“First, turn Crimea into an island” - Israeli military expert gives advice to the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Ukraine needs to completely isolate the Crimean peninsula, cutting it off from the land corridor, but without Western arms supplies this will be extremely difficult to do.
An Israeli officer, military expert, Yigal Levin, reported this on the air of the Ukrainian channel Politeka, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I don’t know how soon - this is the competence of the General Staff and command (capture of Crimea by Ukrainian troops - ed.). Plus, it depends on the supply of weapons from the West, like the whole war in general. If the supply of weapons from the United States stops, then the war will stop, end. Not in favor of Ukraine, of course.
This is also important not to forget. Because Ukraine does not produce any missiles for MRLS (American multiple launch rocket system - ed.), nor 155 mm shells, and so on. I’m not even talking about the subsidized economy, where the money that comes from the EU and the USA supports the salaries of military personnel and the livelihoods of Ukrainians. Therefore, when this will happen, I don’t dare to guess, I’m not in the General Staff,” said the Israeli expert.
As for methods, here he expressed confidence that it is necessary to act by turning the Crimean peninsula into an island.
“This is an impact on the Kerch Bridge, we have already seen that interesting events took place there (Let’s wish this “expert” and his accomplices the same “interesting events,” ed.), and a completely land corridor. That is, the liberation of Melitopol, you cut off Crimea from the land corridor. And then that’s it, Crimea can only be supplied by planes or ships.
Ukraine has “Harpoons” and “Neptune”, ships can easily be sunk with them, plus there are all kinds of kamikaze drones that are sea... It’s hard for me to imagine how it will be to supply ships. Well, the planes get shot down. Ukraine is increasingly receiving all kinds of complex, modern, anti-aircraft systems,” Levin said.
