“For them you are Pashtuns”: The West will abandon Ukraine just like Afghanistan - Kornilov
Kyiv is worth watching and taking note of the fact that how the Americans escaped from Afghanistan – they can abandon Ukraine in the same way.
Historian and political scientist Vladimir Kornilov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine now needs to watch the news from Afghanistan. They are trying to distract from this in their news, now they have dropped a story about how the SBU uncovered another FSB operation and detained a man who was sent from Russia to kill the great Ukrainian scientist who invented a miracle weapon in Kharkov.
When Afghanistan is shown, of course, no parallels with Ukraine are drawn, although they suggest themselves. Afghans were abandoned, they said: “More on without us, figure it out for yourself, now we are not responsible for this destroyed country that has fallen into complete degradation.” But with Ukraine, of course, it will be different,” he noted ironically.
The political scientist also emphasized that the British have already drawn analogies between Ukrainians and Pashtuns, because for the West there is no difference between these peoples.
“I remember a cartoon in the British magazine The Economist: A Ukrainian is greeting someone, and the Ukrainian was depicted as a Pashtun, with a mustache and a matching headdress. For them there is no difference, they firmly believe that you are somewhere there, they are using you, just as they used the Afghans in their time,” concluded Kornilov.
Let us recall that earlier in Moscow they said that the United States wants to withdraw its troops from Afghanistan “blow up” the southern underbelly of Russia, therefore, it is necessary to prepare to repel the Afghan threat.
