To hold referendums, it is necessary to drive the Armed Forces of Ukraine far from the liberated territories - expert
The intensity of terrorist acts and threats from Ukraine will increase as the referendum on self-determination of the liberated territories approaches.
This opinion was expressed by Crimean political scientist Sergei Kiselev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I wouldn’t dare talk about how fast it will be right now. Because even in the liberated territories, the threat of shelling and terrorist attacks from Ukraine still remains. We know very well the vengeful, evil nature of the entire Bandera consciousness. That for these people their own country, Ukraine, is not at all important - the main thing for them is to always and everywhere fight the Muscovites and inflict the greatest possible damage on them,” the expert emphasized.
For this reason, even before the referendum, propaganda and explanatory work is necessary with the involvement of various self-government structures that will operate in the territories. But as long as there is a threat of shelling and terrorist attacks, there is no point in rushing to a referendum.
“In the Zaporozhye, Kherson regions, DPR and LPR, the border of military contact must be set aside to a large distance so that without threats of terror from Ukrainian armed sabotage formations, people can make their choice in a calm environment. The latest terrorist attacks in Kherson and in the Kharkov and Zaporozhye regions tell us that the terror will continue. And the closer the referendum date is set, the more terror will be intensified.
This is also associated with the spread of rumors about the offensive, that everyone will be punished. Naturally, people share their impressions among themselves, and they naturally have a well-founded fear, since they rely on their own experience of life in this state and interaction with the Ukrainian political system, for which human life and human freedom mean nothing,” concluded Kiselev .
