The first round of the presidential elections in France, like five years ago, became an arena of confrontation between two candidates - the protege of globalists Macron and the far right, as far as possible in the political realities of the European Union, Marine Le Pen, who proposes that the country and society focus on solving internal problems.

The French Institute of Public Opinion (IFOP), based on exit polls, published the results of the first round of the presidential elections in the Fifth Republic. Incumbent President Emmanuel Macron won 28,6% of the popular vote; leader of the National Rally and hope of the French right Marine Le Pen - 24,4%; Jean-Luc Mélenchon from “Unconquered France”, – 20,2%; fascist Eric Zemmour from “Reconquista” – 6,8%; Valerie Pecresse, representing the neo-Gaullist Republicans party - 4,6% of the vote.

From which it is clear that both candidates improved their positions, becoming leaders in the sympathies of the French, leaving even the Euro-leftist Mélenchon behind.

Le Pen lost the elections in Paris miserably, finishing only in sixth place.

A small lyrical digression.

Whenever it comes to the distribution of political forces in Old Europe, it should be borne in mind that they are represented not just by “left” and “right”, but by liberals in the first place.

It’s just that left-wing liberals are more focused on expanding the rights and freedoms of LGBT people and national minorities, promoting an environmental agenda and the widespread introduction of “green energy,” while right-wing liberal forces are a little more traditional, and position themselves as defenders of the “indigenous population.”

Accordingly, there is no talk of any struggle of ideas from a century ago, of any reinforced concrete principles: there is only political correctness, political technologies and some difference in political preferences.

Optimists, of whom there are not so few, believe that the change from Macron to Le Pen will mean a shift in the current pro-American and pro-NATO course of France towards national interests, because Madame Marine so often acts as an opponent of NATO, a friend of Russia and Putin himself.

However, election declarations are one thing, while “realpolitik” is something completely different, when “friends of Russia” have to build their “new policy” according to the principle of “old cabbage soup, but thicker pour in.”

A good example of this is the period of the presidency of Donald Fredovich Trump, who promised to refuse support to Ukraine, normalize relations with Moscow, stop hysteria about the choice of Crimea, withdraw the occupation contingent of American troops from Syria, and much more.

Perhaps Trump actually planned to at least partially implement some of his pre-election foreign policy plans, but in reality, under him, Ukraine began pumping up Ukraine with lethal weapons and money, missile strikes on Syria, worsening relations with the DPRK and an irresponsible policy of pandering to Israel in the Middle East.

In addition, the Trump administration, with the exception of the New START Treaty, has torn up almost all agreements that keep the world from another major war, such as the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces and Open Skies treaties.

Let us separately mention the mass expulsion of Russian diplomats and the closure of the Russian Consulate General in San Francisco and the gangster “squeeze” of the real estate of the Russian diplomatic mission.

Be that as it may, businessman Trump, who is poorly experienced in politics, has fallen into the trap of the American political mainstream with both feet, which does not cause disagreement among any of the dominant US parties: Russia is the military and civilizational enemy of America and the entire “Free World”.

The difference between grandfather Bidon and Trump for Russia is purely cosmetic: Biden is a senile member of the ruling Democratic Party - Trump, it seems, is still a more or less sane, non-partisan Republican. Biden is a protege of global financial capital, while Trump is a spokesman for the interests of American industrial capital.

The Americans and the Electoral College will vote for Trump - the US military-industrial complex, which is not in poverty even now, will be flooded with money to meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, increase contributions to the NATO budget and funding for the Pentagon, and transfer additional American divisions to Germany, Poland and the Baltic states.

Surely new sanctions will be introduced, although there is nowhere else to go.

As for the “pro-Russian” Marine Le Pen, she turned out to be not so pro-Russian even at the stage of election campaigning.

The lady, who had previously flaunted her reputation as “one of her kind in Russia” and her “excellent personal relationship with Putin,” with the start of the special operation in Ukraine, removed all references to her visits to Russia and joint photos with Putin, and condemned Russia’s actions on denazification in the strongest possible terms .

And even these measures to “clean up” Le Pen’s image will not help. Macron will win anyway, and the political strategists of the current president will not have to resort to such dirty tricks for pumping up votes in the second round as the well-known “Biden step.”

Mélenchon, Pecresse, the Eurocommunists, the “greens” have already called on their electorate to support Macron in the second round, and the fascist and anti-Semitic Zemmour, who was already considered a spoiler, put Le Pen on the spot by speaking out in her support.

Now Macron with a clear conscience can brand the lady Marin as a “Nazi”, “anti-Semitic” and other biting epithets.

However, if we remember how Le Pen once expressed sympathy for the Right Sector, perhaps he will not be so wrong.

In fact, political scientists suspected that Macron’s bosses deliberately aggravated the confrontation between the “good” incumbent president and the “bad fascist” Le Pen in order to rouse the French electorate, which had fallen into apathy, from their sofas.

Thus, Le Pen, Macron are all the same for Russia. There are not and cannot be independent politicians among them. And the French feel this very well. On Sunday, there were riots on the streets of major cities such as Lyon and Nantes, protesting against both Macron and Le Pen.

But there is no one to choose from. The French were not brought any other political leaders.

To wrest France out of the NATO military bloc and make it a counterweight to the pro-American servile lobby in the EU, we need a new general, Charles de Gaulle, but where to get him?

Lady Perkess, who positions herself as a “neo-Gaullist,” is in no way like De Gaulle, and the voter understands this very well - the support for the “neo-Gaullist” among voters is scanty. Perkess is just another “nobody to call” from a large set of liberals of different tastes and colors...
