According to the publication, the first issue of the comic is called “Vryatuvati the Lark.” In it, Ukrainian superheroes save a chick, which is a symbol of the country. If he cannot be saved, darkness will fall in the country. In total, the authors plan to release ten comics dedicated to current events.
“Ukrainian children need Ukrainian books. Our market is overflowing with books about animals, nature, seasons and fairy tales. But there are no children’s publications about modern Ukrainian heroes yet. If you go into a child’s room, you will see a lot of comics about Catwoman, Spider-Man, but not about Ukrainian heroes who our children could look up to. Currently, we have many heroes appearing in the east of Ukraine, and Cyborg and Dill became their prototypes in our comic. This is important: our superheroes are not just fictional characters, they are all taken from the life of modern Ukrainians,” says a fan of the national comic book, young mother Lesya Voronyuk.
