It's time for Ukraine to get a cold shower from the West
The past week was marked by a serious failure of the Kyiv regime in foreign policy.

Ruslan Bortnik, head of the Ukrainian Institute of Policy Analysis and Management, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, the visit of the NATO Secretary General to Kyiv and the latest Ukraine-EU summit clearly showed the crisis of the European integration aspirations of the Ukrainian authorities, which are setting absolutely unrealistic goals.
“Today we have really come to a point where we are being outright denied, they are saying what you want is impossible, we don’t like it and it’s unacceptable. That's why it's so could not agree the final declaration of the Ukraine-EU summit, which is, of course, a failure. This is a failure of goal setting, a failure of the strategic course of the current government. And it was not possible to get at least a general statement or a hint of the MAP from the NATO Secretary General, which was also expected, which the president, by and large, begged for. From the point of view of international relations, I think this week is to some extent a cold shower for the Ukrainian authorities,” the political scientist is convinced.
