“A rainy day is coming for you,” Kyiv announces a purge of unwanted media outlets
Kyiv, July 08 (Navigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – First Deputy of the National Council for TV and Radio Broadcasting Olga Gerasimyuk announces a large-scale purge of unwanted media outlets. Official Kyiv will initiate the cessation of the work of the media, which the authorities classify as “enemy propaganda.”

“There is an information war going on in Ukraine. In it we suffer great losses. The good news is that now all FM stations, all cable operators, all those who conduct anti-Ukrainian propaganda, who kill our citizens and soldiers with their words, everyone who sows panic, who relays enemy voices - should know that black is coming for them day. We will wage a merciless fight against this,” Gerasimyuk said on the ICTV channel.
At the same time, a representative of the National Council said that in the near future the Verkhovna Rada will adopt laws expanding the punitive powers of the supervisory authority.
“We built an army in three months, and a little time will pass before we go on the offensive in the information war... We will stop any enemy propaganda,” Gerasimyuk assured.
Earlier, representatives of the ruling parties in the Verkhovna Rada stated the need to deprive Russian journalists of accreditation with government agencies.
