About it reports the party's official website.

“The Communist Party faction in the Dnepropetrovsk City Council was forced to change its name after the anti-communist laws came into force. Now it is called “Narodovladya,” the press service of the Communist Party reported.

The Dnepropetrovsk communists announced the name changes on July 22 at the 66th session of the Dnepropetrovsk City Council.

Let us recall that on July 24, Justice Minister Pavel Petrenko, by his orders, banned three left-wing parties in Ukraine - the Communist Party of Ukraine, the Communist Party (renewed) and the Communist Party of Workers and Peasants.

Communists were also banned from participating in elections.
