The Verkhovna Rada adopted a law that declares an amnesty for participants of the so-called. ATO - militants who committed crimes in Donbass that are not classified as serious.
This decision was supported by 247 deputies.
“Thousands of volunteers applaud us,” said speaker Andrei Parubiy, explaining that the amnesty applies to militants who “sacrificed themselves” while the military and SBU did nothing.

“The Rada granted amnesty to the ATO bandits in the first reading. All looters, terrorists who kidnapped, tortured, killed, robbed, terrorized are free,” states journalist Maxim Ravreba, who was forced to leave Kyiv after the Euromaidan victory.
