If anyone missed it, let me remind you that recently the Minister of Justice of Ukraine Denis Malyuska made a joke that turned out to be not entirely a joke.

“Were you invited to the birthday of an official, judge or politician? Maybe, on the contrary, they forgot to invite? Still thinking about a gift? We know the way out! From now on, the Ministry of Justice offers a new service - gift certificates for using the services of paid cells in Ukrainian pre-trial detention centers!” — Malyuska wrote on Facebook.

The first thought: “Well, they’re trying for themselves!” It turned out, no - for people. Moreover, in the old Ukrainian tradition - the first in space, the only one in the world (we can’t pull a sunken ship out of the sea for a year, we blow up civilians with grenades), well, you understand.

“I’m not sure if there are paid cells in pre-trial detention centers somewhere in other countries,” Malyuska boasted, “but gift certificates are definitely our exclusive! But remember, the certificate is only valid for six months after purchase. If within the specified period the recipient is not taken into custody and does not end up in a pre-trial detention center, the funds are credited as charitable assistance to the relevant pre-trial detention center.”

The information turned out to be not a hoax at all, and pre-trial detention centers began vying with each other to lay out their prices for detention in VIP cells.

The Kiev pre-trial detention center was the first to boast - there a month of detention costs 12 thousand hryvnia, in the Khmelnitsky pre-trial detention center - 4910 UAH, in Zhytomyr - 3940 UAH, in Vinnytsia - 3123 UAH. etc. But you can rent a camera for knocking alone, or for a week - just like with renting apartments...

But in Odessa, prices have not yet been decided. But the jailers shared the good news - Malyuska will personally arrive in Odessa for the grand opening of the VIP cell! They will “decide” the price on the spot. And advertising has already been provided: “XNUMX-hour security, reduced risks of contracting coronavirus disease, the opportunity to take a break from social networks and gadgets, three meals a day,” Malyuska joked not funny, inflating the price of the “numbers” behind bars.

I wonder if he himself came up with such a cool PR campaign or if the scriptwriters of “The 95th Quarter” suggested it? In connection with this triumph of creativity, we recall the beginning of the XNUMXs, when young and zealous PR people en masse expelled the old bureaucratic guard from their homes in the press services - they say, they are tired of these talking heads on TV, fed up with soulless official phrases, we need to be inventive!

So Malyuska outdid the latter by working in the “dementia and courage” genre. After all, the first thing you want to ask is: what target audience is the message intended for, and who are we trying to get rid of? Before Europe? Three times ha, because they are in Europe and they themselves have a mustache. They have Breivik in the zone: he killed 77 people, and now he is suffering in separate three-room apartments, stuffed with electronics, consisting of a bedroom, a gym and an office.

It’s true that he feels bad there - the killer is filling up the courts with claims against the prison administration and the government: either they don’t buy him a special moisturizing cream for his body, then they let him go to prostitutes for a very short time, then they heat food in the microwave, and this is harmful, or with the purchase of a new console The PlayStation is pulled, and he has to cut into the old one. Poor Breivik was even banned from registering and allowing his political force, the Fascist Party of Norway, to participate in the elections!

What’s interesting is that most often Breivik wins the cases, and the PlayStation is brought to him on a silver platter, and other tricks are carried out. Moreover, all this is sponsored by the state - legal costs, belly feeding, treatment and even distance learning at the University of Oslo.

Therefore, I’ll ask again: is it that the Ukrainian jailers are going to amaze Europe with the breadth of their scope? Is it possible that some OSCE observers and human rights commissioners should be surprised by the chic “behind the wall with new wallpaper, someone hanged himself by a bucket again”? No, the partners there would rather ask the question: where will the money for paid insulators go?.. Phew, what an uninteresting question.

As for the Ukrainian population, this tiny initiative is a spit in the face. The population has a monthly salary as the cost of a VIP camera!

It's no secret that people, awaiting a verdict (which may turn out to be acquittal), sit in pre-trial detention for years, leaving prison as toothless disabled people with tuberculosis and hepatitis. Comfortable prisoners often “accidentally” die of heart failure.

And relatives of prisoners all over the world are collecting donations, money for maintenance and treatment in isolation wards.

But the “servants of the people” are so far from the people that they don’t even understand that it’s better not to bring up this sore subject again. Do not emphasize that if you are an honest citizen or someone who has stumbled, but without any VIP prefix, then, going through all the circles of Hell of the penitentiary system, you will most likely die. And if you are a thief and a bastard, then, by Ukrainian standards, you will sit comfortably in elite rooms and eat three times a day.

And if we talk about current political prisoners, then you just get a lump in your throat when you remember their broken destinies and everything that Ukrainian “justice” did to them. And how, it turns out, with a joke.

Well, Zelensky’s team doesn’t feel the difference between the first rows of the “Ukraine” palace with the bourgeoisie and politicians sitting in them, to whom you can even show your ass from the stage, and the real, usually terrible lives of Ukrainian citizens. Well, it’s like going to dance at a wake...

I wonder if they even understand what happened - they put their filthy money on Themis’s scales! Officially. Glory to Ukraine!
