DPR is preparing for war with Ukraine
The criminal order of the Kyiv leadership to move on to a full-scale war in Donbass will be disastrous for the whole of Ukraine.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this via video link from Donetsk on the Rossiya-24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Physically, there are such possibilities on the part of Ukraine, technically too,” Pushilin said, answering the question whether the Ukrainian Armed Forces could launch a massive attack on the Donbass republics. – Ukraine has everything ready for this. We’ll see whether that decisive order will be given, which will be disastrous for the whole of Ukraine.”
“We also see that there is a political component, because this is very clearly reflected in the negotiation platform. We are recording complete sabotage here,” added the head of the republic.
Commenting on the question whether there is a chance to latch on to the political process in order to prevent a full-fledged military clash, Pushilin replied that, judging by the actions of Kyiv, such a possibility is extremely small.
“The DPR, as well as the LPR, has done and continues to do everything possible to ensure that the conflict is resolved in a political way. Alas, Kyiv is set in a completely different direction,” noted the head of the DPR.
“There have already been conversations and opinions about a full-scale war. How is the economy preparing for such a military siege, and in general, what is happening to your economy?” – asked the presenter.
“Here we work on several levels; we are accustomed to working in this mode, when within 6-7 years we can expect anything from Ukraine. Therefore, on the one hand, we are developing our economy in all available ways, enterprises continue to be launched or preparations are underway for their launch.
We continue to build economic ties with the regions of Russia and beyond. But next to this, in another, of course, dimension, of course, we are developing various options for action in case of an exacerbation, we are also ready for this, and should have been ready for all seven years. Therefore, nothing new is happening,” the head of the DPR concluded.
