The DPR wants to conduct a real prisoner exchange, not a “Poroshenko” one
Donetsk, December 08 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – Vice-speaker of the People’s Council of the DPR, permanent plenipotentiary representative at the Minsk negotiations Denis Pushilin said that the issue of prisoner exchange was discussed with Kiev.

“The issue of an exchange of “all for all” was discussed, as it was spelled out (in the Minsk memorandum - editor’s note) regarding prisoners, and I think that in the coming days we will see a really serious exchange of prisoners in terms of quantity,” Pushilin said while talking to reporters.
According to him, the conduct of negotiations at the moment depends on Kyiv’s position on two key issues. “This, in principle, is all I can say now, so as not to give away any information on which the further progress of the negotiations depends,” Pushilin said.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko said that he was surprised by the information published on the website of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko about the exchange of prisoners. “When I read Poroshenko’s website that he exchanges six prisoners at a time, I am simply amazed at this website,” Zakharchenko said
