DPR struck back – Ukraine confirms serious losses
In Donbass, one Ukrainian punisher was killed, several more were injured as a result of return fire from DPR defenders.

Before this, the Ukrainian Armed Forces opened fire from 122-mm guns, heavy mortars and infantry fighting vehicles in the area of the city of Dokuchaevsk, as a result of which two pensioners were injured.
According to military correspondent Andrei Rudenko, the victims with multiple shrapnel wounds were taken to the central hospital of Dokuchaevsk, where doctors are treating them. According to updated data, the woman has a bruise and abrasion of the lower third of the left shoulder, the man has multiple shrapnel wounds of the soft tissues of the upper third of the left forearm and left shin with the presence of foreign bodies.
The defenders of Donbass were forced to fire back at the enemy to suppress them.
“The firing points from which the enemy fired at civilians of the republic were destroyed. According to our intelligence, the losses of the Ukrainian militants who shelled Dokuchaevsk amounted to one dead and three wounded,” the press service specified.
In turn, the JFO headquarters confirmed losses on an even larger scale.
“As a result of enemy fire, one serviceman of the Joint Forces received a non-life-threatening injury. Eight servicemen received gunshot shrapnel wounds, two more received combat injuries,” the Ukrainian side reported.
