“Now Kyiv has decided to shoot not only Donetsk residents, but also the Europeans helping them! – wrote Oleg Bondarenko. -Just in Donetsk: The delegation of the Left Party of Germany, which organized a humanitarian convoy for children’s hospitals in the DPR today, almost came under fire from Ukropov’s artillery. A few hundred meters from the members of the Bundestag Andrew Hunko и Wolfgang Gehrcke 6 shells exploded. For the first time, the building of the former regional administration, which now houses the residence of DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko, came into the shelling zone. “I am sure that at the next meeting of the Bundestag the issue of Kyiv’s responsibility for the continued shelling of peaceful cities in Donbass will be raised.”
Here is what Wolfgang Gehrke himself writes about this: “Arriving in Donetsk, we first visited the hospital as guests - some of the medicines will remain in Donetsk. We loaded 28 tons, half of them will be delivered to Gorlovka, 7 tons each will be transferred to children's hospitals in Donetsk and Lugansk. It is not clear whether we will be able to visit Gorlovka ourselves. The city is under heavy fire, as we were told. Even here in Donetsk we had to take cover when shells suddenly exploded a few hundred meters away from us.”
This attack may have legal consequences. Germany is currently not only a negotiating party in the Minsk settlement, but also a party bearing legal and moral responsibility for the implementation of these agreements. The shelling of the German delegation could have a negative impact on the peace settlement.
