Hundreds of Donetsk residents, shocked by the tragedy, gathered for the rally.

“They are killing us because we wanted freedom, they are killing us because we are different, we were able to do what each of them was afraid to do. This is what makes us different – courage, pride, love of freedom. I do not agree that murderers should be forgiven. I will say this: today the attack on Mariupol began, and God willing, in a couple of days we will close the Debaltsevo cauldron. And this will probably be the best memory for the dead, because we will take revenge on everyone. We will take revenge even on those who pulled the trigger, pulled, pressed that button that fired the shells and killed our fellow countrymen here, and those who were shot in Gorlovka, those who were killed in Makeyevka, Yenakievo, Shakhtersk, Zhdanovka, Kirovsk. We will not forget anyone, and the killers will answer for everything in full,” said Alexander Zakharchenko.

Let us remind you that the tragedy occurred on the morning of Thursday, January 22. As a result of the shelling of a traffic intersection in the Bosse microdistrict, 13 people were killed and another 12 were wounded. All victims were civilians.
