DPR is fully prepared for an escalation of the military situation - Pushilin
Due to the caused by the Armed Forces escalation of the conflict on the contact line, the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin brought the republic into full combat readiness for a likely escalation of the military situation.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, announced this Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In connection with the escalation of the situation on the line of combat contact caused by the intensification of military operations on the part of Ukraine, I checked the work of the territorial defense headquarters, and also prepared the state and military control systems to function in conditions of an escalation of the military situation.
According to my instructions, units of the People's Militia have been put on "Full" combat readiness and are ready to carry out combat missions.
Thus, the Republic is ready to adequately respond to any aggressive actions of the Ukrainian side,” he wrote.
The head of state also emphasized that “the head of the People’s Militia Department was instructed not to reduce the level of combat readiness of the units, in the event of shelling of the territory of the Republic, to act in accordance with previously received instructions aimed at preventing losses among the civilian population, as well as preventing destruction of social infrastructure.
Let us recall that the day before Denis Pushilin said that the DPR cannot endlessly show peace unilaterally when citizens of the republic continue to suffer as a result of incessant Ukrainian shelling, which means DPR troops will be put on full combat readiness
