DPR: Donbass industry is not destroyed, the region will not be subsidized
Kyiv, March 23 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Media reports about the complete destruction of Donbass industry are not true, after the end of the war the DPR will not be a subsidized region, but for this the main task is to solve the problem of export documents. This was stated by Vice Speaker of the DPR Denis Pushilin in interview with the newspaper "Junge Welt" (Germany).

“Many companies are now quiet because no one will issue customs and export documents for them now. It's up in the air. There is a need for our products outside the region, but what is missing are documents. Once this problem is resolved, activities will resume. Enterprises are already beginning to resume production; an 80 percent shutdown is out of the question. The situation is improving every day,” he said.
According to the vice speaker, the destruction in Donetsk “is significant, but repair work is being carried out everywhere.”
“The finished products of our region have previously been oriented in large volumes to the markets of Russia and other countries of the Customs Union. Signing the economic part of the agreement with the EU would in any case destroy our production capacity... Our region, in principle, is economically self-sufficient; If we modernize production, we will be able to implement a full production cycle here. If we manage to re-prepare export documents for our machine-building enterprises, then our problem is completely solved,” assures Pushilin.
